About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 questions??

1) If we are on cruise ship and it stops in China, are we required to apply for a Visa?
2) When we leave the cruise ship we fly out of Beijing. Are their Visa requirements to fly out of Beijing?
note* We will meet the ship in Japan (not China)

Yes, you need to apply for a Chinese visa if your cruise stops in China. A single entry is enough if the cruise stops once time in Chinese port and you enter through the immigration, then leaving from Beijng.
