About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Seattle -> Hong Kong -> Shanghai -> Seattle

Hi. I'll be flying my first part of the trip from Seattle to Hong Kong. Then, I have a side trip planned that is < 72 hours from Hong Kong to Shanghai. I'll leave then from Shanghai back to Seattle. Can I take advantage of the 72 hours visa free transit permit? Thanks.
