transit visa doubt

Hi, good morning.

My name is Henrique I read in some articles and in the embassy of china website, that from january 2013, citizens from 45 countries including Brazil, can get a free transit for 72 hours at the Beijin Airport, as long as we have a ticket of a third destination country .
I just would like to confirm if this information is correct. Is it?

Thank you very much!!!

Hi, it is not a visa, but a stay permit. You should report your transit need to the airline you take before travel, the airline will then report your need to the Capital airport immigration Inspection Office. You can get the stay permit when you arrive at the aipport.
