i'm planning to travel to putuoshan at march 28, 2930.

I already reserved a hotel for twoo nights and I'm arriving by boatfrom Shanghai the 28 March 2013 around 12:00 a.m.. I read somewhere that this date was for commemorating the birthday of Guanyin, but someone told me the birthday of the goddess is the 19 February. I would like to be sure that there will be some ceremony connected to Guanyin these days. Thank you very much for your kind answer,Clara

Generally speaking, there is a ceremony, but the activity of this year is not published to the public.The birthday of Guanyin is the 19 Feb on Chinese calender, so it is March 30 this year.
