Procedure for visa to China with Indian Passport for lecture in university by Indian Professor

You need to apply for a F visa. The documents you need to prepare are original passport with 2 or more blank visa pages and at least valid for six months, completed Visa Application Form with a color passport photo taken within the last 6 months (48mm×33mm, full face, front view, unmounted) affixed on it, the invitation letter from the university (written on the company or organization’s official letterhead paper with the official seal and signature), confirmed return air ticket and covering letter from the applicant's company or office.
