If we stop in Beijing on a "transit without visa" can we go to the Great Wall at Badaling?

We are planning to stop over in Beijing for 72 using the "transit without visa" program. In that 72 hours can we leave Beijing and go to visit one of the nearest parts of the Great Wall such as Badaling?
