About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Multi-city and Back-to-Back TRANSIT WITHOUT VISA Possible?

Currently reside in Asian Country (A). Can I fly to Guangzhou, go to another city like Shanghai, and then fly out of Shanghai to a different Country (C)?

Do the officials care about intercity travel/mode? Or do they not care about where you travel within those 144 hours so long as you have an onward booking confirmed leaving China?

Also, once I arrive at Country (C), can I then turnaround and book a return trip into China, do another 144-hour visa free stay before going back to Country (A)?

1. Your itinerary can only be like: Country A - Guangzhou - Country C. You can not stay in both Guangzhou and Shanghai under the 144-hour visa-free transit, and they do care it.

2. If your return itinerary can meet the requirements, then you can use it again.
