About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

Applying for a Visa from Korea but I am a New Zealand citizen

Hi, I am currently living/working in South Korea but am interested in going to China after my contract. I understand I am unable to go to China in the last 6 months of my contract but because I will be finished my contract in Korea, is it possible to get a holiday visa when living in Korea. It says I must be in New Zealand in the above information. Thanks in advance.

Non South Koreans have to provide the alien registration card (ARC) in South Korea valid for more than 6 months and they have to apply from any travel agencies appointed by Chinese embassy and consulate.

I guess that your ARC is going to be invalid after your contract terminates. So I think you can fly to Japan or HK to apply for it.
