Foreign Currency

I am coming to China in the first week of Mrach from Uk for ten days. Should I bring Chinese currency or is better that I bring British Pound and then convert it there. I was told that you get a better rate if you convert British pound in China. Also I was told that the converted money can easily be withdrawn from the cash machines.if you put British Pound in the machine

Yes, you are right. It is better to convert in China and the convert machines you described you described exist and they can be found in the airports.
