About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I live in Montreal. Can I submit the visa application by mail or do I have to apply in person?

The consulate in Montreal doesn't accept visa application. It says that Chinese embassy takes care of it. According to Chinese embassy in Canada, those ordinary passport holders have to apply for visa at CVASC. CVASC accepts application by post.
