shanghai to guangzhou on bullet train

Question

HI, I wish to travel to Canton between 8 and 10/11 march return from shanghai. I am wanting to take the bullet train routes. Can you suggest me the best route to take and possible train timings?Thanks

Hi, there is no direct bullet train service between the two cities currently, only ordinary trains which take at least 16 hours for the whole journey. I advise you to take flight. You can book the airfare in advance and there may be discount for the air ticket.
