single status certificate

I need to obtain a letter to prove that I am single for the Chinese government.  Where and how do i get a copy of this certificate.

You can do an affidavit, notarized first by a local Notary Public and then to be authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law. At last, get it authenticated by Chinese Embassy in Singapore.
