How to handle a 33 day tour?

We are trying to book back to back tours resulting in 33 days in China, several in Hong Kong mid trip. Can a tourist visa be acquired initially to cover this?

Yes, but you may need to apply for a double entry tourist visa if you plan to visit HK mid trip.
