About:Getting to Changsha

Changsha south train station to Zhangjiajie

We will arrive the south train station with bullet train and would like to go to Zhangjiajie by bus. Which bus station is the closest from south train station? How much does it cost to take a taxi to that bus station? We will have a lot of luggage, so taking a regular bus may be a problem.

Well, upon your arrival at the south railway station, you can walk to the nearby Lituo Bus Station, where there are buses heading for Zhangjiajie. However, I heard that only three buses run from the bus station to Zhangjiajie. You'd better consult further about the bus schedule.

Bus from Changsha to Zhangjiajie schedule does not show any buses departing from South Railway station. It shows a lot of buses from West and East and Changzhutan bus station. We are arriving in South train station and trying to figure out which bus station (west, east, or Changzhutan) is the closest from south train station. Could you tell me which bus station is close to south train station and how long it takes if we take a taxi? Thanks for your help. Heidi

Hi, Heidi. You are right. There are more frequent buses running from the other three bus stations to Zhangjiajie. But the nearest of them lies about 10km away.

Lituo Bus Station I mentioned is just about 1.5-2km from the south train station. I just searched that direct buses from that bus station to Zhangjiajie are scheduled at 09:50, 10:50, 11:50, 13:00 and 15:00.
