Chise visas on cruise

Hi
My wife and I are taking a cruise from Singapore to Shanghai in March this year
The ship stops at 2 chinese ports , the first being Xiamen for one day ( where will take a day tour ) and finishing in Shanghai
We will stay 3 nights in Shanghai and then on the 4th day catch a train to Hangzhou , and then onto the airport to depart to Kuala Lumpur ( all on the 4th day )

My question is will we require just a double entry visa or is a multiple entry visa required

Thanks
