About:Visa Policy of China

transit visa for a stopover in Beijing China for less than 24hrs

We are British citizen and our flight going back to England will stop over for Beijing China for less than 24hrs. If we want to go out of the airport, do we need to apply for a visa before our actual travel ? or can we just do it at the airport?

Hi, you are not required a visa for this, actually you can enjoy 72 hour visa free transit in beijing. You will be issued a transit permit if you need go out of the airport.
