Can I go from chengdu to Dazu rock craving?

Can I depart from CD to see Dazu rock carving? How to go by bus or train which one is faster? And how long does it take? Or do I need to go to chongqing fist?
If compare between longmen grottoes and Dazu rock carving which one is better and larger? Thank you !!
