with motorcycles from lhasa to mt everest basecamp

We are a couple who travels around the world with motorcycles and now its Asias turn 2014. We are planning to take the bikes to Lhasa by air and drive back to Sweden. How would it be possible to do this trip to Mt Everest Basecamp for us two?

Your preparation may be so complicated.If only two of you want to go to Lhasa, it is not permitted, because you cannot get the Tibet Travel Permit. For this permit, you can refer to https://www.travelchinaguide.com/faq/tibet-travel-permit/ for more details.If you really want to, you can choose to climb the mountain from other countries.

Thank you for your answer! We are planning to drive our mc´s up to the Basecamp and I don´t know if you can do that from any other side than from Tibet?
