U.S. employee of HK company applying for business visa in China

Hello, I hold a U.S. passport, and I have been travelling in China. I have just been hired by a HK company. The company has extensive business activities in the mainland and I am expected to travel there frequently. What kind of China visa do I need and how do I apply? I would need a multi-entry with up to 90 days for each stay. Thanks for your advice!

The best type should be multiple business visa (F). You need an invitation letter from your business partner in mainland and the registration license of this company. Or, an letter issued by your company you are employed and the registration license. If you are now working in HK, you can apply through Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs.

Thanks so much for this precise information! I have just been told that the requirement of what qualifies as an "invite letter" has just been seriously tightened; so perhaps the best is for my HK employer to issue a letter. Do you have a standard sample? Also where is this Commissioner of China located? I really appreciate all your help!
