Double or single entry?

Hello!

I'm going to Shanghai as an exchange student, I have told to apply F(We already have invitations from the school), but in the end of the exchange period we are taking a 5days trip to Japan, so I was wondering should we take a Double-entry?
When we are arriving from Tokyo our flight back is leaving at the same day (after 6 hours) and from the same airport, so we are not even leaving the airport, should we still apply double or is the single entry valid?

Hi, you can apply for a single entry Chinese business F. If you fly from Tokyo via Shanghai with confirmed flight ticket, you are not required any for this entry.

thank you from your answer,

We are having two totally different flights, so we need to check-in at shanghai to our flight back. So I think we need to have double-entry, right? And is it possible to have double-entry F?

thank you in advance!

I still think a single entry is enough even though you have two separate flights. It is possible for you to get a double-entry F anyway. You can contact the Shanghai Airport transit service tel at +86-21-51105100 for confirmation.
