trasnportation from hongqiao airport to the city center

Question

Iwill go to shanghai for the Chinese New Year and I will land at hongqiao aiport. Which transportation should I take to reach the city or somewhere close to nanjing road? Furthermore I would like to know if the youth hostels in shanghai are safe

Hi, you can take subway line 2 at Hongqiao T2 MTR Station to the city center. Actually, the subway can take you to West Nanjing Road and East Nanjing Road. As for the Youth Hostel, it is generally safe enough.
