About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Mainland China Visa to Honk Kong

If my friend from Shenyang, China wants to visit me in Honk Kong can she fly straight into Hong Kong using a round trip plane ticket? They have 7 day visa only?

Mainland Chinese can stay in HongKong for only 7 days without a HongKong visa. Your friend can extend his/her stay there, but have to secure a HongKong Entry Permit. FYI, a HongKong Entry Permit is less expensive than a HongKong Visa.

Will she have to go through Guangzhou or can she fly straight to Hong Kong from Shenyang with the permit?

Hi, she can fly straight to HK from Shenyang. She can also confirm this with a travel agency in Shenyang.

My friend went to an agent and this is what she told me
"My city has no open Hong Kong freedom ride, I can only from guangzhou in Hong Kong, but from Hong Kong back to shenyang"
Is this correct? What can she do to fly strait to Hong Kong?

Hi, this is incorrect. Maybe the agency can not get a ticket from Shenyang to Hong Kong as there is only a few flights between.
