About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Travelers Lounge/Transit Hotel

I am arriving at Beijing (PEK) on the American Airlines Flight 187 from Chicago (ORD) which arrives at 11:30pm and the am connecting to Hainan Flight 7165 to Kunming, which leaves the next morning at 8:20am. Is it possible to use the Travelers Lounge during this layover? If so which one, the one in T3 or T1?

Yes, you can use the lounge during this layover. I advise you to stay in the lounge between the Gate D2 and the Gate D3 at B1 in T2 since Hainan Airlines is in T2. You need to catch it the next morning.

So Hainan moved to T2 for Domestic? The Airport Website still says T1

Oh, sorry. I made a mistake. You are right that the Hainan Airlines Domestic (HU) is in T1. You can choose to stay in the lounge in T1.
