About:China Visa

Do my wife and I qualify for 72 hour visa.

My wife(Australian Passport) & I(British Passport) - residents of Australia arrive at 6.25pm and stay in Shanghai hotel, then fly to UK at 11.00am the following day. Going home to Australia 5 weeks later we arrive Shanghai 7.20pm on a Friday & leave Shanghai for Australia, on the Sunday at 7.55pm. Is these entries qualify for the 72 hour visa free transit.
