staying in sanya airport

Question

I have an early flight (8:10) and was wondering if the airport allows people to kind of hang out in the building? I have heard that some airports in China do not allow people to stay there and force them to leave in the evenings. I am staying in Dadonghai and do not really feel like trying to get a taxi that early (and it will be the day before Spring Festival begins...)

As I know, the airport will be closed for several hours during the night. There may be special area for passengers to stay. You can follow the advise of the airport staff to get there.
