About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

what can i do or how to get visa for longer stay in china?

I am a filipino who is planning to stay in china for long with my chinese husband together with our son. Please anyone can help us me and my son,coz we want to live together with my husband in china this time my son is already 3 years of age and i think it will be very hard for him and his father coz they can't communicate as my husband speak pure chinese mandarin,.please help...

You can apply for a L visa to enter China. During your stay in China, you may apply for a longer period family visa as long as you meet the requirements. Please read this page:

Hi, I think you all can enter with a L visa, then apply for extension to family visit L or residence permit at your husband's local PSB. Invitation letter from your husband, your marriage certificate, your son's birth certificate are required.
