About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Is it possible to get Residency Visa?

Hi, I am a 62 year old American citizen, presently teaching at a university in Macau. I live in Zhuhai for the time being. I worked in China from 1994 to 2012. I bought a house in China in 2002. Is it possible to apply for a residency visa (temporary or permanent) because I own property here? If yes, how do I apply for one?

Thank you very much for your help with this.

Hi, I think you can have a try to apply for a permanent residence permit at your local PSB. You can refer to https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/refusal.htm#employment for detailed procedure and requirements.
