About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

What is the average temp in Lijiang in May? And also at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Is May a good time to visit?

Hi, according to the past weather records, the average temperature in Lijiang city is around 16C and that in the suburb may be a little lower, around 13C.

At that time, the mountain would have the average temp of 10C. Once you are in the scenic area, it may be colder, especially in the early morning and afternoon. I suggest you prepare thick overcoat to keep warm then.

Generally, it is ok to go for trips to the attractions you mentioned in May.
