Entry to Hong Kong from Macau

Hi, my friend and I are MALAYSIAN passport holders visiting Macau in March 2013 :

1 ) Do we need a visa to enter Macau ?
2) From Macau, we want to visit Hong Kong for one day, then return back to Macau. Will we need a visa for this ?

Thanks !

Visa is not required for you to enter Macao. But if you will return after visiting Hong Kong, you may be refused entry or need to get a visa. You can confirm this with PSP of Macao immigration service at (853) 2872 5488.

Is the visa ones which can be applied upon arrival ? Does this mean we have to apply for the visa before going to Hong Kong. Where in Macao can we apply this and how long does the process take ? Thanks !

With Malaysian passport, you are exempted from visa to Macao for 30 days and HK as well for 90 days. But this may good for single entry only. If you enter Macao twice within a short period, there is possibility that you may get refused entry. You can refer to PSP of Macao for more details: http://www.fsm.gov.mo/psp/eng/EDoN.html
