will the invitation letter for z expire, if yes then after how many months?

I have invitation letter for Z, the issue date is in 17-January 2013 and it mentions that Date of first entry: Feb-2013 Does that mean I can not enter after February? In other words, if I submit this invitation letter to Chinese consulate in Damascus in March, it will still be valid? or the consulate will reject it?

Don't worry, the date on invitation letter is a reference for your visit. Did you get your work license? if yes, it is valid for 6 months after issue. You can apply for the Z with both work lisence and the invitation letter in March.
