About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Italian Citizen Living in Switzerland (Permanent Resident)...

I live closer to Milan than to Bern/Zurich, am I allowed to apply for a Visa in Milan even if I am resident in Switzerland?

P.S: I remember reading somewhere that if it's your first visit to China (which it would be for me), you are only eligible for a single entry visa. Is this true?

You can apply in Milan with your Italian passport. You can also confirm this with CVASC in Milan first before visit.

For your question No.2, I have to say yes if you visit for the first time.
