I am planning to travel alone to Macau? I wonder whether people there speak English well.

Do i need guide there. i am just going for one day from Hong kong.

As I know, they almost speak Portuguese and Cantonese. Generally they can understand Mandarin. English is just widely used as official language.
Therefore, if you can just speak English, a tour guide will help you a lot.
