About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

We are travelling to Vietnam via Guangzhou do we need a Transit Visa?

Visa is not required if the stopover in Guangzhou airport is less than 24 hours. If you plan to go out of the airport for sightseeing, you can apply for a stay permit at the airport.
