About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Can anyone confirm that it is possible to transit the CAN without a visa?

We are travelling from London to New Zealand via Guangzhou, with a change of aircraft at CAN. We are assuming that we do not enter, then immediately exit the country.

If your transit won't exceed 24 hours, you don't need any visa.
