Short tour in Beijing

I need to take very short tour as I have only few hours before take another flight.Please advice me with nice places beside the airport.

To be honest, there is nothing very attractive nearby the airport. I suggest you take the airport shuttle bus line 2 to Xidan area, then roam to Tian'anmen Square. You can have a short explore of the city center area.
