About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I repeat the China 240 TWOV within a short period?

For example,

Hanoi -> Guangzhou (layover) -> Chongqing -> Hong Kong

and then shortly thereafter

Hong Kong -> Taiwan -> Beijing -> Seoul?

With each stay being close to, but under, the 240 hour limit?
