For activities, do you mean the tourism activities or any other kind of activities?
If you mean visiting attractions, if I were you, I will choose to go to Jiuzhaigou after visiting CD. Since you have been to CD and it is also a golden time for visiting Jiuzhaigou, it is a must seeing place.

During Sep. the temperature will drop a lot. Though, the average temperature can be around 20C. You will also meet some rainy days. Therefore, I suggest you take along long-sleeved shirts and thin overcoats plus a thin sweater. An umbrella or simple rainy gear is also necessary then.
