About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Can I apply a Tourist Visa to China from the Philippines even I am a Permanent Residents in Japan?

Dear Sir/Mam; I am a Filipino but a Permanent Resident in Japan. I was invited by a friend to meet and attend a Trade Fair Convention in Guangzhou, China this coming April 2013. Since the Chinese Embassy is quite far from the place where I live in Japan and the charges are quite expensive, I want to apply from the Philippines going to China and because I also want to visit my family first from the Philippines before going to China. Please let me know if I can apply there and the necessary documents I will needing for applying the said Visa. My friend who was inviting me will be the one to shoulder my air fare and hotel accomodations. Thanks and God Bless...

You can apply in Philippines with invitation letter from your friend. The correct type should be F. If your friend will shoulder your air fare and hotel accommodations, this information should be included in the invitation letter. And better provide bookings if possible.
