Chinese tourist visa for Norwegian citizen

Hello,

I am looking to travel to China in mid-March, and I am currently backpacking in Thailand. Is it possible for me to pick up a visa in Bangkok?

Hi, to get a visa in Bangkok is difficult as they may ask for Thai residence permit or long-term visa for application itself. You can have a try anyway, also I heard that it may be easier to do this in Chiang Mai.
