About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

how to apply long stay visa(type Z) to China

I am Sri lancan and I have been working in China for more 5 years. I want to know how to apply for a long-stay visa(type Z) for my wife and my son.Please advise what document I should submit?What is the procedure?

Hi there I am Sri Lanka married to chinese here in Shanghai . Well you have the Z visa which means Work permit . But your wife and son cannot have that type visa unless they find work in China, but its possible for them to come to stay with you on L or dependent Visa for that you must send your work permit copy an inviation letter.
