The ticket can only be bought at spot, but you can buy the tickets in advance at the ticket offices.
Here is a list of ticket office:
No. 8, Renmin Road;
No. 556, Renmin Road.

It should be the office of Suzhou. In Hangzhou, you can buy the cruise tikcet and catch that at Wulinmen Water Bus Port.0

For all I know, the cruise is still operating. Bus 27 and 94 can take you to the wharf. Or, you can hire a taxi to get there directly. However, I'm not sure the cruise schedule. You are suggested to consult the staff when you arriving at the wharf.0
