About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Malaysian living in Shenzhen

Good morning,
Where is the nearest Embassy or Consulate if Malaysian staying in Shenzhen wants to register marriage with China lady. Is it Hong Kong ? May I have the address of the nearest Embassy or Consulate.

Hi, you need to do this at local civil affairs of your lady's place where she registered her hukou, if you want to get your marriage registered with your embassy or consulate, go to Malaysian consulate in Guangzhou.

Thank you. I have these two questions.

(1) May I know to register at the local civil affairs of the lady's place, can it be done within the same day and what are documents required ?
(2) can you please guide me the procedure and what documents are required to register marriage at Malaysian consulate in Guangzhou.

Yes, it can be done the same day with all documents well prepared such as your passport, single status, birth certificate, photo, and her Household registration book.
