Emergency VOA for Swiss passport holder and HK citizenship possible?

Hi I'm holding a SWISS passport and HK CITIZENSHIP also I've a double entry visa applied with 1 entry left to go but only realised that it has expired 27 dec 2012. Unfortunately only realised it just before I boarded my plane to HK and will arrive this evening at 5 pm in HK to connect to Beijing. Can you advise if I could get a VOA in Beijing when I arrive at 10 pm tonight? I have a very important meeting with a national bank tomorrow morning and would greatly appreciated if you can help.

You may ask the holder of the meeting to provide you a formal invitation letter to assist your VOA application at the Beijing airport.

Dear Bartlett

Thank you for your reply. As the meeting is mandatory for me, just want to ensure that with that letter I am able to obtain my VOA upon arrival in Beijing. Do you mean just an invitation letter from my counterpart (Host) I will be granted with VOA? Is there any posisble chance that I will be deported or refused at Beijing airport? Tks!

I don't think you will have any problem at the airport, since you meet the situations listed here https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/service.htm
