About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Travel within China

I just had my flight changed by the airline and in their efforts to rebook my flight the airline now has me with a 12 hour layover in Beijing after flying from Shenzhen and the airline said they will put me up in a hotel if my visa permits. If travelling between two cities in China, does that require multiple entries?
