About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Minimum Foreign Exchange to be endorsed to immigration officers for hong kong, for a tourist visa

can anyone tel me how much minimum foreign exchange i have to bring along for visiting hong kong, i will be travelling to hong kong by next week with on arrival visa, i need to know how much foreign exchange in hong kong dollars needs to be endorsed to immigiration officer? Thanks!

Hi, it is about US$5,000. you can bring in foreign currency and change in HK but they give less favorable exchange rate, you'd better change at your local bank.
If you exchange money at Hong Kong International Airport, change only what you need to get into town.
