Travel Arrangement from Kunming, Yunnan to Chishui Scenic Spot, Guizhou

I would like to visit one of the danxia sites (Chishui danxia landform scenic spot) located in Guizhou province. As I will be arriving and leaving from KM, Yunnan, can you advise how do I travel from KM to Chishui scenic spot, either by land (bus, train) or by air, and how long is the journey using both modes of travel? Also, what will be the weather for both locations?

Hi, you can take an airplane to Guiyang first. Upon arrival, you can go to the local Jinyang Bus Station to take a long-distance bus to Chishui from where you can take a taxi to the Chishui Scenic Area easily. The air journey takes about 1h and the bus journey takes around 6-7h.

Or you can take an airplane to Luzhou in 1h and 10min. Then you can go to the local bus station to take a bus to Chishui within 1.5-2h.

As for the weather, which month do you refer to? Anyway, the weather in the both places is usually pleasant.

Airport shuttle bus line 1 directly leads to the Jinyang Bus Station. It takes around an hour and costs CNY25.
