Hi, I am planning to visit Huangshan with my husband in April on our way from Chengdu to Shanghai, and I would like to know what transportation is available from Chengdu?

I am a bit confused organizing this trip to Huangshan because I can not tell from the map which area is the best area to book the hotel in and couldn't find any information about tours to the Huangshan Mountain except the private tours which are too expensive for us.

We want to book a hotel and then book tours for the day so if you can advise me please which itineraries are best and which area is better for us to book the hotel where we can also have access to restaurants and bars. We are traveling on a budget so 4-5 stars hotels are out of our price range.
