About:Chinese Embassy in Nigeria

Please i want to know what it takes to marry a Chinese national in Nigeria

and what is required to get a Chinese visa after the marriage?

If you pplan to register your marriage in Nigeria, please go to your local goverment office for the answer. After the marriage, you may pply for a China family visit visa with your passport, application form, passport standard photo taken recently, invitation letter from the Chinese national's family an your marriage certificate notarized by the local Notary Public.

Hello Sir/Madam, thanks for your last reply to me, Please i need help, I am having some difficulties with some information, i want to know, which requirement do i need to acquire, in other to be extending my visa in china after marriage with my fiance in Nigeria?. She is from Hunan Changsha and we will get married this january in Nigeria and planed to go back to China immediately to live as a family in China. and again, do i need Her Family House Hold book before i can get visa at the Chinese embassy? Your urgent reply will be appreciated. Thanks Jude.

For your visa extension in China, your marriage certificate will do. However, you have to have the certificate notarozed by your lola Notary Public and then authenticated by the Chinese embassy in Nigeria before you heading for China. The family House Hold book of your wife is not necessary for the visa application.

Hello I am Sri Lankan married to Chinese and living in Shanghai . Well as all the information's given to you are truly right . What i want to tell you is that you cannot live here that fast because Chinese rules unlike the EU rules which you can get a visa to settle down and work with the same visa after marriage . China is Family L visa which you need to provide her Chinese ID and a letter from her mentioning the reason why your going with her just mention to visit her family thats easy plus your marriage certificates and get it prove as mentioned and your bank who will support you on your stay in china which is very important. If your wife is currently working its much better because if you apply for 6 months and after 6 months its difficult to extend it if there are no prove if you have not a problem. Myself my wife work in a Canadian high school so she can provide and I got it very fast again . Or when you arrive here find work work permit the best . good luck .
