Other Z visa requirements?

Does the issuing company in China have to have invested 100,000 RMB in the company before they can hire foreigners on a Z visa?

Thanks Kyle. But, is it possible to apply for the Z in China or I have to go back to Uk to apply?

I'm afraid you have to gp back to Uk to do it unless your employer is state-controlled or state-owned who can help to get the Z visa for you when you are in China.
