About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

I am a citizen of Afghanistan but am a perminte residence of US and been living in US since 1998

My question is that do I need a visa to enter China with an Afghanistand passaport which was issued in Washington DC by Afghansitan embassy?

Yes, you need to apply for a visa in advance in US.
